PRO 3-WAY

3-WAY ADJUSTABLE COILOVERS

PRO level 3-Way adjustability utilizing the Concave Flow Digressive™ piston, that allows for an extremely wide range of adjustment. Independently adjust rebound, high speed compression, and low speed compression.

Frequently used by: Equipped on some of the fastest cars in the world.

Digressive Piston Technology

Flow Digressive Technology found in the 500 Series allows for stiff low-speed compression/rebound force and a supple response to fast stroke speeds. This combo gives more control of driver inputs such as roll, dive, and squat while soaking up irregularities and bumps in the road to maintain maximum grip.

The Concave Flow Digressive Pistonfound in the motorsports series takes adjustability to the next level. The ultra wide range of adjustment allows for the convenience of tuning your suspension without having to revalve your dampers every time you change spring rates. The CFD Piston also has Jekyll and Hyde characteristics that allow lower spring rates to be stiffened up by using the wide damping range as an artificial spring rate, while higher spring rates feel much smoother. The large adjustment range contributes to a comfortable ride on the street and unyielding performance on the track, all with the twist of a single adjustment knob. 

Modularity - Upgradeable to any series

The architecture on all Fortune Auto coilovers was intentionally designed to be modular so the suspension can grow with the driver’s needs and budget. As long as there is an application for the vehicle, your coilovers can be sent in for Fortune Auto to upgrade to 510 Series, Dreadnought PRO 2-Ways, or Dreadnought PRO 3-ways. This includes brand new Concave Flow Digressive Pistons, Amsoil synthetic shock fluid, dyno graph for all shocks matched, assembly certificate to document the build and quality control, along with 2-way/3-way canisters if applicable.

One of the reasons Fortune Auto is considered a life-time investment, you’ll never truly be able to outgrow your suspension.

All Fortune Auto models also offer ride height adjustability, spring preload adjustability, along with damping adjustability. As all suspension is custom built to order, please discuss different options with Fortune Auto technicians to get exactly what you need.

Monotube Damper Design

Like most high performance and motorsports vehicles, Fortune Auto coilovers utilize monotube dampers with high pressure nitrogen. Monotube dampers offer many benefits including ability to utilize a larger piston, better heat dissipation, and lack of aeration.

Deflection disks, or shims, cover up the valves and regulate the fluid flow which generates the force found in a damper. Valving profiles are developed by using a specific combination of shims that provide the optimum resistance and damping ability. Just a thousandths of an inch of variation in the shims can change a damper’s force profile up to + or – 25%. Fortune Auto dampers utilize a high-grade shim material made of Sandvik knife grade steel, ensuring precision matched dampers.

 

Custom Built and Dyno Tested

Every Fortune Auto coilover is completely built to each client’s requirements. With the assistance of our knowledgeable, experienced staff and the availability of various upgrades and options offered, we can help create the perfect suspension setup. Our mission is to provide our customers with outstanding quality products and services that only top-tier racing teams have access to.

All shocks are dyno tested using Roehrig 2VS shock dynos to ensure that your coilovers are fully functional and deliver optimum performance. Dyno tests are also used to match coilovers to each other to maintain consistency.

Rebuildable and Revalveable at our VA Facility

Fortune Auto is capable of not only fully rebuilding coilovers, but revalving the dampers as well. A life time product in the truest sense as it can last and grow with you as an enthusiast and driver.
 
Dampers go through wear and tear and reach service intervals depending on use. Fortune Auto offers a full in-house Overhaul Service that includes a thorough safety and performance inspection of the dampers followed by our meticulous rebuild procedure by highly trained technicians to bring them back to original tolerances. All coilovers are then dyno-tested and matched to rigid specifications to ensure consistency and quality control. The Overhaul Service includes repairs and replacements, if necessary. Custom revalve option is also available for those that would like to pair their Fortune Auto coilovers with a different spring rate than original valving.

THE FORTUNE AUTO WAY

PROTOTYPING

Step 1

The design and prototyping phase allows us to develop a finalized product that fits just like its OEM counterpart. Numerous measurements and data points are taken to ensure fitment and function are always spot on.

ENGINEERING

Step 2

Our team of designers and engineers turn prototype parts into CAD models. These models are extensively tested using Finite Element Analysis. This insures a properly engineered part that can withstand the rigorous loads of race use.

MACHINING

Step 3

Parts are machined from CAD models utilizing CNC Lathes and Mills. Once part machining is finalized they are heat treated or coated for strength and longevity.

Step 4

All Fortune Auto dampers are custom valved by hand. This ensures that each shock absorber is built correctly taking into account the selected spring rates, vehicle dynamics and intended usage.

Step 5

After piston assemblies are custom valved, the rest of the shock is assembled. There are over 100 individual components that come together in 1 shock absorber. Assembly technicians expertly assemble each damper using state of the art tools and equipment.

Step 6

Fortune Auto goes above and beyond industry standards. Every shock absorber gets dynoed and issued a serial number. The shock dyno confirms if the shock is built with in spec and if it is matched to tolerance (shocks are matched right to left within 3%). The final phase is quality control. Quality engineers check if the damper system is built to spec and a certificate of assembly is finally issued detailing final quality and dyno test inspection results.
